Northern Russia

These are activations of RDA districts together with RK1OWZ members. RK1OWZ was on the air 24×7 for years in the 80s and 90s. These days the club is not as active. RDA trips are still organized from time to time. The guys usually work from Archangelsk and Kirov oblasts. Trips to 9 call area are made too.
Apart from DXing in the North I visit Kyokushin dojos in Russia whenever I can. I am also really fortunate to train under Sensei Aragane in Ireland who is one of the top world karate and judo masters and a holder of 7th dan in Shotokan.
