St. Kilda expedition is over. It was an excellent trip and an adventure. 12.000 QSOs were made from Monachs and St. Kilda and all operators are now back home. We were really lucky with the weather. The sea was calm during the trip. Night shifts were very tough with rain and cold throughout. Full story of the trip is available here. All operators are now back home without major injuries. Ramon had a bad fall on the last day and broke his arm, he is in the cast but is recovering fast. QSL cards have been designed and are now in the print.

QTH: National Park, Senegal, 6W/EI6DX/P

Update: either tomorrow or on Wednesday evening between 6 and 10 PM GMT I hoping to  activate one of the nearby National Parks of Senegal. Operation on 14 MHz only using a short whip antenna. Do not expect a strong signal but hopefully it will be enough to give a rare 6WFF to some of the WFF chaisers. Check for an update on this web site tomorrow for exact reference number and time.

Unfortunately we are experiencing severe weather conditions in the East of Ireland with with gusts of wind reaching 60 MPH. As a result I had to cancel the activation of the Wicklow Mountains National Park this weekend. I will try to organize it again in early summer.
